FirstServe was eye opening and challenging. The placement encouraged me to be more resourceful and creative. I am very thanksful and realise that I can often take simple things for granted – such as smooth roads!

I have always loved to travel, so at first, I was only excited about the overseas placement. However, the pandemic allowed me to be truly invested in the UK placement, which I really enjoyed.

Amazing, overwhelming and life changing.
It has definitely changed me. It has showed me a different way of ‘doing’ church (a more traditional way). In addition, so many people from different walks of life have positively affected me and helped me to improve myself.
